One Big Beautiful Bill Pro-Life Wins

When the Supreme Court rightly overturned Roe v. Wade, it gave our country a chance to correct decades of vile injustice against the unborn. It also gave pro-life leaders in Washington a clear mandate to protect life and stop forcing taxpayers to fund abortion.

That’s exactly what we’re doing through the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. My legislation, which is embedded in the bill, blocks all federal funds—mandatory and discretionary—from going to Planned Parenthood and ensures no federal agency can fund or partner with any group that performs abortions.

It puts the weight of law behind the principle: taxpayer dollars should not bankroll the abortion industry.

The fight for life didn’t end with the Dobbs decision. It started a new chapter.

American taxpayers have been footing the bill for abortion for far too long. Whether it’s funding that bankrolls the abortion industry or Medicaid plans, there is no good reason as to why Americans have to continue funding the elective murder of unborn babies.

Implementing these provisions in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act ensures no federal taxpayer dollars are used for abortions outside of rape, incest, or the life of the mother. They deliver on what the pro-life movement has fought for and what voters affirmed during the last election.

The Dobbs decision handed responsibility to elected leaders and in the House, we followed through. Now, the Senate has a golden opportunity and moral obligation to cement these pro-life wins.

As an outspoken advocate of the unborn and as Co-Chair of the Congressional Pro-Life Caucus, I’m proud to be leading this fight. And I’m calling on my colleagues to join me, not to keep a campaign promise, but to uphold our nation’s core and constitutional belief in the dignity of every human life.

Life is winning. And it will continue winning when the One Big Beautiful Bill is signed into law.
